Fed: Aussie TV chef to be farewelled in Brisbane today
BRISBANE, Dec 30 AAP - The man who put television cooking on the map in Australia willbe farewelled at a funeral in Brisbane today.
Bernard King, aged 68, died at his Gold Coast home on December 20 where he spent thelast few months of his life.
King, who was a noted cook and made regular appearances as a judge on talent showsand in other television programs, suffered a heart attack and died after falling off hisherb garden wall.
The iconic chef, who was well known for his acerbic wit, will be farewelled by familyand celebrity friends including Home and Away actor Bryan Wiseman at the Hemmant Chapelthis morning.
