SAND LAKE -- John B. ``Tarz'' Albanese, 80, of Route 43, Averill Park, died Monday at his residence.
Mr. Albanese was born and reared in Brooklyn. He moved to the Capital Region more than 60 years ago. He worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps in Berlin for a time.
He was a foreman at BASF-General Adaline in Rensselaer before retirement.
Mr. Albanese was a former volunteer firefighter in Averill Park.
