Vic: Angry gay protesters converge on Archbishop Pell = 2
After the protest, Mr Wilkinson said the nooses hung on the fence in no way represented
any intention of violence against Dr Pell.
He said they represented the predicament of gays who felt alienated by church and society views.
"They have no other option than to kill themselves," he said.
